Who we are

For over a decade, I've helped organisations improve performance by bringing together people, processes, systems and information in ways that support better decision-making and more effective operations.

I founded Johnstone Business Intelligence after seeing the same challenge across industries. Businesses often had capable people, established processes, multiple systems and plenty of information, but these elements weren't always working together. Without a shared understanding, decision-making became harder and opportunities for improvement were missed.

We help businesses align people, processes, systems and data so teams can work from the same understanding, make better decisions and move in the same direction. Whether it's improving reporting, streamlining processes, building applications, strengthening maintenance planning or preparing for automation and AI, we focus first on understanding how the business operates and what success looks like.

Family is at the centre of everything I do.

A few years back, my supportive wife Jess was diagnosed with MS. I won't pretend that wasn't a confronting moment for us, but rather than hold us back, it gave us even greater determination.

Since then we've SENT IT!! We packed up the house, sold it, hitched the caravan and taken the family and the business on the road. We work with clients on-site, in their workshops and in the places where the real work happens. We're building the business and building memories at the same time, and I wouldn't trade that for anything.

Every May, Jess and I do the May 50K: 50 kilometres across the month to raise money for MS Australia's research and support programs. If this resonates with you, we'd love your support.
