Objective, scope & delivery

The problem to solve

A clear objective before any work starts.

Shift tonnes, dig rates and haul cycles need to tell the same story. When dispatch data, mine targets and shift reports disagree, the production meeting becomes a reconciliation exercise instead of a decision about the next shift.

We start by walking through how your site records production: when a shift starts and ends, how material is classified, where payloads are captured and who approves the numbers. That establishes what a tonne means in the report and which source is authoritative when records differ.

The report brings the agreed measures together by shift, fleet and source, with plan-versus-actual views and enough detail to investigate a shortfall. Dispatch exports and targets are checked before development; missing records, duplicate movements and inconsistent fleet names are identified rather than hidden behind a polished visual.

What the work needs to address

  • See which shifts and fleets missed the agreed production plan.
  • Separate a dig-rate problem from a haul-cycle or payload issue.
  • Reconcile reported tonnes to the source records used by the production team.
